The shoes are a combination of three things I love in footwear: wedge heel + patent leather + round toe. In short, winner!
At first I thought the shoes were the Lanvin Wedge Espadrille Pump (unfortunately out of reach at US$550.00!)
Thanks to the nosy British press, I found out that the shoes (which I hereafter dub "The Kate") are actually the Maddox style from the U.K. brand L.K. Bennett:
The Maddox is more affordable at £165.00 (and still available on the website in my size), but that's still way above my budget for a single pair of shoes. Now the search for the more affordable alternative begins. Has anyone seen a similar pair at friendlier price? I'll be eternally grateful!

the maddox looks like a good knock-off! if i see one that's a local replica, i'll comment back! :) what's your usual shoe size?
ReplyDelete@herroyalbleakness : The Maddox is what she's actually wearing! The Lanvin is just a similar style :). Thanks for helping me hunt for a similar shoe! I'm usually 9 in imported brands, 10 in local brands :)
ReplyDeleteMaddox looks really nice! Looks almost the same as the one from Lanvin. :)
ReplyDeleteI love wedge heels too! I am prone to tipalok so wedgies are my best bet when I need to wear heels. My feet are a size 9 too. :D
Mel, the wedge will be re-released by LK Bennett as the "Kate" at a lower price of $265. PWede na? :) hehe
ReplyDeletethe wedges are hot! love it! Found your blog through google on cambridge satchel, you just saved me like $170 to not get one hehe thanks for your informative post!
ReplyDeletePammy: They are super super nice! I am so tempted. This is one time I wish some local brand would make a knock-off style (pero has to be patent leather)
ReplyDeleteJudy: The most expensive shoes I ever bought is like US$195 lang, I don't think I can over $200. :(
Pop Champagne: Thanks for visiting my blog!
I saw these wedges at Charles and Keith! They have black, nude and some sort of orange color. I think the price is around PHP 1500. :)
